Experience
I have worked for 3 years as an elementary school with both special education and general education students. I am certified to teach elementary school (PK-6 grade), special education (PK-12) and also ESL. As a special education teacher, I assessed students academic and behavioral strengths and weaknesses and created goals (along with homeroom teachers and family) to address their weaknesses and then designed curriculum to address those weaknesses. I am very organized, great with data collection and goal setting as well as creating engaging learning experiences for students. I am very good at planning study routines and organization!

I am very passionate about education and helping struggling students. I never feel more accomplished than when I know that I helped a child who was struggling understand a concept because you can see the change in their self confidence! I am very patient and good at coming up with creative techniques to teach with and ways to motivate. I love sports, traveling and animals and like to fill my free time with those activities as much as possible.
