#### Education

Brigham Young University - BS, Chemisty#### Experience

I remember when a student received a B+ on her math final. It was the highest grade she had ever gotten in her math class! It was also the subject she found the most difficult. We worked together over four tutoring sessions to prepare for that final. It is one of my favorite stories to share from my tutoring experiences. I've taught math and sciences in the classroom as well as in individual tutoring settings. In each I've used my Chemistry degree from Brigham Young University. I've worked with students to the point of being requested by parents for the next year. I've also worked as a substitute teacher where many of the math and science teachers request me back into their classrooms because of my understanding and confidence in teaching these lessons and answering questions related to these subjects. I know that math can present difficult concepts. I know that chemistry seems to be difficult to many. I also know that these subjects can be learned and students can be successful. I tutor all ages and grades, which even means I've worked with adults who have gone back to college. When I'm not teaching or tutoring, I enjoy spending time at the park with my daughters, baking, watching movies, dancing, and reading.#### Hobbies

going to park with my kids, reading, movies, cross-stitch#### Preferred Subjects
