Experience
I earned both my bachelor's and my master's degrees in special education. Then I studied educational psychology and earned my PhD in philosophy at Texas A&M. I am absolutely passionate about teaching and I take pride in my ability to make math enjoyable. It is my goal to help the students that I work with to appreciate math, too. I believe anyone can achieve greatness in math if they are given the correct guidance. My education and my teaching experiences have helped me develop many strategies to help students approach math problems, and to show them how to view the problems in real world scenarios. I am highly skilled in middle school math, geometry, algebra 1 and 2, and college algebra. Though most of my experience is in math, I am also quite fond of assisting students with writing assignments and essay editing. My approach to essay writing revolves around strategies in organizational techniques and thorough brainstorming, which ultimately makes the whole process a breeze. Whatever your essay needs are, you can be sure that I can help. In my spare time I enjoy playing with my daughter, working out, eating, yard work, dancing, jewelry making, poetry, travel, and lip syncing.
