Experience
I have over 7 Years tutoring experience working with preschool through elementary school age students, through a daycare setting, working with my own children ages 8, 6, and 4, and as a teacher's aide in a school district. Being a Director of my own home daycare for 6 years was very rewarding. There were lots of reason to celebrate my student's accomplishments, but one that stood out was assisting a 3rd grade student in being promoted to the 4th grade when the decision had already been made for him to repeat the 3rd grade. With my summer curriculum, doing extra work and re-working assignments, I decided to write a letter to his Principal about all his hard work throughout the summer. Through review of his tests, daily work and projects, the decision was made to move him forward to the 4th grade. Our hard work paid off, lots of quality time, guidance, and love! I feel the potential to succeed is in every child, it sometimes takes a little bit more time, determination, and attention to bring out their highest abilities!
